Hi! I’m McKenna, and I am a 2019 graduate from Washburn University. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History, with minors in both English and Military Studies. I have had a passion for history since high school, with a particular interest in military history.
In addition to history, I have a deep love for dogs. We have had dogs around my entire life, I honestly can’t imagine my life without them. Through a position at a dog daycare center, I grew in my appreciation for these loyal, empathic, amazing creatures. Currently, I have a Chihuahua mix and a Mini Aussie.
My hope is that through this blog, others can grow in their appreciation for animal heroes, and realize just how much they add to our lives.
